Brandon Schaafsma
Partner/Head of Production
As Head of Production for Herne Hill Media, Brandon Schaafsma manages the VFX teams across multiple projects. His outstanding leadership abilities, coupled with an extensive understanding of the VFX workflow, ensure the successful delivery of world-class visual effects.
As a VFX Editor, Brandon contributed to the trifecta of Guillermo del Toro-directed projects Crimson Peak, the Academy Award-winning The Shape of Water, and Nightmare Alley. In addition, Brandon also worked on Paul W.S Anderson’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Monster Hunter.
Brandon is a member of the Visual Effects Society. He graduated with honours from Sheridan College’s Media Arts program.
Brandon is an avid fan of baseball – both watching and playing it – and photography outside of work.
