Mathew Borrett is currently a Senior Environment Artist at Herne Hill Media.
What led you to work in this field? Or someone who inspired you in your career?
I’m mostly self-taught and never expected to work in VFX, so I came to it in a roundabout way with the encouragement of a friend who insisted I give it a go. In hindsight it seems inevitable!
What makes a good coworker?
A good co-worker is confident but ego-free and able to laugh under trying circumstances.
If you could have a super power, which would you choose?
I already have the power of time travel, at least in my head I do. Adding the power to bring a real camera along would be epic.
What is your favourite movie?
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
What kind of coffee / hot drink do you like?
I’m a sucker for a good cappuccino.
